Support & Referrals
In order to have a successful tenancy we generally only think about tenancy related needs (you need to ensure that your rent is kept up to date, you need to keep your home maintained in a clean and tidy state and report any maintenance issues in a swift and timely manner) and while this is all true sometimes there are other issues occurring in your life that can have an impact on your ability to sustain your tenancy.
Our model of tenancy management is to Achieve Sustainable Tenancies and Reward Tenants (ASTART). Through the ASTART model we have more of a holistic approach to delivering our services and are able to offer a tailored support package to meet your needs. Services delivered under the ASTART banner include:
If you are experiencing personal issues (aside from general tenancy issues) that are having a negative influence on your life you can seek assistance from our staff.
We can assess your needs based on the information that you provide to us and work together to develop a case management plan that will outline your goals and the steps that are needed to be taken to achieve those goals. Your progress will be monitored and staff can give you information and advice along the way. If your problems are too big for us we can make recommendations and referrals to services and organisations appropriate for your situation.
If you are feeling down, facing financial problems, relationship breakdowns, unemployment, family and domestic violence, ill health, struggling with substance abuse or addiction then we urge you to contact us today and have a chat about how we can give you a hand up.
You may have no personal or tenancy related issues and are just happy enjoying your tenancy. This is the case for many of our tenants. We encourage you to continue to pay your rent and take care of your home and we also want you to know that we appreciate your efforts in doing so. We like to take the time to say thank you for being a great tenant by developing innovative tenant incentive programs to reward tenants like you.
